I am a huge fan of the artists Pierre et Gilles.  They are a long time couple with one doing the photography and one adding layers of fantasy paint above.  I love how their art is a mix of kitsch humor, homo sexiness, and classic beauty.  I often wonder how it is to work as a collaboration with another artist, as I have only my own skills and viewpoints to rely on.   My own series of Sons of God that dealt with my Catholic upbringing through a gay lens, was a direct tribute to the stylings of Pierre et Gilles.
